Martina Šepetavc

Graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Zagreb, where, following her internship and professional licensing exam, she began her career in community pharmacy. She progressed from staff pharmacist and pharmacy manager to Head of the Center of Expertise at Farmacia, where she is responsible for professional development, implementation of quality standards, and advancement of clinical and cognitive pharmacy services. She has led the development of additional cognitive services, coordinated public health initiatives, and serves as editor of the professional journal ZU Farmacia.

She is an active member of the Croatian Chamber of Pharmacists, currently serving her second term on the Council. She chairs the Committee for Professional and Ethical Affairs and is a member of the Committees for Oncology Pharmacy and Additional Services. Within the Croatian Pharmaceutical Society, she served as President of the Section for Community Pharmacy (2014–2024), as well as a member of the Management and Executive Boards. She is also a member of the Executive Board of the Section for Oncology Pharmacy, contributing to national initiatives in oncology pharmacy practice.

Since 2015, she has been an external collaborator at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, participating in teaching and practical training in Pharmaceutical Care, Pharmacotherapy of Dermatological Disorders, and Vaccination in Pharmacy Practice. She is an invited lecturer at professional conferences, author of scientific and professional papers and textbook chapters, and a recipient of multiple awards for her contribution to the development of pharmacy practice.

Her professional interests include improving pharmaceutical care for vulnerable patient groups—particularly oncology, geriatric, and pediatric patients—as well as prevention and rational supplementation.
Through her work, she continuously integrates clinical practice, education, and organizational development, contributing to the modernization of Croatian pharmacy and the advancement of professional standards.
