Election 2026 – The nominations Germany

Dr. Christian Beck

Pharmacist with experience in hospital pharmacy, research & development and analytic
pharmacy. Actual working in the area of API sourcing, pharmaceutical-medical questions
and development of new formulations.
Based on many years of experience, I want to improve and solidify safety and quality for
both patients and pharmaceutical staff.

Denise Lenssen

I have been a member of the DGOP since I became a pharmacist. Over the years, I have
become increasingly active in the DGOP. Through my various roles on the DGOP
advisory board, as head of a working group on manufacturing and QMS, through my work
with the international SIG Quapos, and as an examiner for the DGOP and the chamber, I
have seen how important our work as an association is at both the national and
international levels. We must continue to expand our network in order to further
consolidate our position as a pharmaceutical pillar in oncological therapy. That is why I
would like to stand for election as a delegate.

Tammo Meyer

My name is Tammo Meyer, I am 34 years old, and I work and live in Leer, a small town in East Frisia (Ostfriesland) in the north of Germany. I currently serve as the head pharmacist of a public pharmacy with sterile compounding services, where oncology is not just a specialty – it is part of our daily responsibility.

My professional role bridges several worlds: I oversee all regulatory and quality aspects of our cleanroom facilities and am primarily responsible for audits and compliance in sterile production. At the same time, I am deeply involved in therapeutic review, validating oncology treatment plans and working closely with prescribing physicians in an interprofessional setting. This combination of regulatory precision and clinical responsibility defines my approach to oncology pharmacy.

Unlike many pharmacits working in sterile manufacturing sites, i have the opportunity to also maintain a strong direct patient interface. I regularly counsel patients receiving our compounded sterile preparations as well as oral anticancer therapies. For me, oncology pharmacy does not end at production or verification – it culminates in meaningful patient interaction and pharmaceutical guidance.

I am an open-minded and highly motivated pharmacist and have been actively involved in the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Onkologische Pharmazie (DGOP) through working groups and the Summer Academy. There, I developed and delivered a lecture designed to bring oncology pharmacy practice in both community and hospital settings closer to pharmacy students.

As a candidate for ESOP delegate, I aim to contribute practical expertise, regulatory insight, and enthusiasm for advancing oncology pharmacy at a European level – connecting perspectives, strengthening collaboration, and shaping the future of our profession together. The unique situation public german pharmacies encounter when they contribute in oncology pharmacy and the information and insight which comes along with it is absolutely worth sharing.
Where Quality Meets Compassion.

Nina Michalowski

My name is Nina Michalowski and I work as a clinical pharmacist at the University Medical Centre Hamburg-Eppendorf. Since last year, I have been involved in the working group ‘Umgang mit ZytOralia und pharmazeutische Beratung’. Since 2021, I have been working as a ward pharmacist in the oncology wards, in radiotherapy and in the palliative care ward. In my work as a pharmacist, I am part of the pharmacy team and an interprofessional team on the ward. I am particularly interested in patient-specific pharmaceutical issues. I am currently undergoing further training to become an oncology pharmacist.
What fascinates me most about my work is dealing with patient-specific questions on a daily basis and contributing the pharmaceutical perspective to therapy decisions in the interprofessional team. Increasing the safety of drug therapy is my daily motivation. For me, the patient and the patient’s well-being are at the centre of my work.
I would be delighted to represent the pharmaceutical interests of German pharmacists in the ESOP and to increase patient and drug therapy safety at an international level.

Dr. Jelena Rosentreter

I am honored to present my candidacy as german delegate for ESOP Global. With many years of dedicated practice in oncology—particularly in the field of oral cancer therapies—I am motivated to contribute my expertise, experience, and vision to strengthening pharmaceutical care at a global level.

Throughout my career, I have focused on optimizing the safe and effective use of oral cytotoxic agents, an area of growing clinical relevance and complexity. As chair of the ESOP Working Group “Oral Cancer Drugs” and member of the german working group on oral cytostatics, I have worked closely with colleagues across borders to develop practical guidance, share best practices, and address emerging challenges in cancer pharmacotherapy. These roles have enabled me to build a strong professional network and to actively connect international initiatives with national developments in Germany.
My long-standing and active involvement in the German society DGOP has given me insight into the needs and perspectives of our colleagues.

I am communicative, open to innovation, and committed to advancing our profession in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape. I firmly believe that stronger collaboration between different countries will empower pharmacists to take an even more impactful role in oncology care.

It would be a great privilege to represent Germany at the ESOP Global level. I am driven by the shared goal of improving cancer care worldwide—ensuring that patients receive the highest quality counseling and support. Strengthening interprofessional collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals is central to this mission. Together, we can further elevate our profession and enhance outcomes for cancer patients across the world.
