Veronica Narvena Macioce

I graduated in Pharmacy in 2015 and i specialised in Hospital pharmacy in 2021. During the university i work as a dental assistant. While i was attending graduate school i work as a local pharmacist. After specialisation i work as inspection supervision for local pharmacies. I work as an oncology pharmacist since july 2022 in Lodi Hospital. During my working days, I am responsible for preparing cancer treatments, checking that they are correctly indicated and prescribed, and dispensing medicines on a continuous care basis to patients in the province of Lodi. We also produce parenteral nutrition and we provide assistance and advice on proper nutritional support for both cancer patients and non-cancer patients. I also deal with non-sterile galenics and am responsible for preparing and monitoring treatments for chronic conditions such as arrhythmias, insomnia due to various types of disability, etc. I would like to represent Italy in ESOP in order to deepen my knowledge in the field of oncology pharmacy and gain new insights to improve my daily work.
