“I am a licensed clinical pharmacist with over seven years of experience in hospital pharmacy, oncology practice, and clinical research. My professional focus has consistently been oncology and the safe management of complex therapies in hospital settings.
I currently work at the Institute of Oncology of Moldova within the Clinical Research Unit of Arensia, where I serve as IMP Manager. In this role, I oversee investigational medicinal product (IMP) management in Phase I–III clinical trials, ensuring full compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), regulatory requirements, and high standards of quality and patient safety.
Previously, I contributed to the establishment of clinical pharmacy services at the largest private hospital in Moldova and was involved in the design and launch of the first private medical oncology department in the country, developed in alignment with international standards and JCI requirements. As Head of Medication Management and Clinical Pharmacist, I led antimicrobial stewardship initiatives, chaired the Medication Management Committee, and implemented a JCI-compliant medication management system focused on risk reduction and continuous quality improvement.
Oncology pharmacy remains my primary area of interest and expertise. I have completed the HOPA Core Competency Program certification and am currently enrolled in the European Certification Program in Oncology Pharmacy (EUSOP). My work is guided by international oncology standards, including ESMO, NCCN, ASCO, and HOPA recommendations.
I am honored to serve as the official delegate of the Republic of Moldova to the European Society of Oncology Pharmacy (ESOP) and to contribute to the advancement of oncology pharmacy practice at both national and international levels.
