Evah Mahlatse Lediga
I completed my BPharm degree (2015) and Mpharm (2019) botlh at the University of the Witwatersrand. 1 am currently a pharmacist at 1 Military hospital pharmacy, 2021 to date. My love for oncology pharmacy was cultivated during this time. D have continued to improve my knowledge in oncology pharmacy through courses (lntroduction to the Theory
and Techniques Preparatory to Oncology Admixing 2021, ExCOP, 2023), conferences (SASMO 2022, SACO 2025), and multidisciplinary meetings and training programs at my workplace. I am a recent committee member of SASOPh (Jan 2026, secretary).
My interest in becoming an ESOP delegate is in line with a deep-seated desire to see oncology pharmacy in South Africa grow and operate parallel to international standards. To contribute meaningfully to broader societies with our own studies. To keep abreast with current research so that our patients may receive the best standard of treatment, even in the face of our socio-economic challenges.

I am deeply committed to advancing oncology pharmacy practice, improving patient outcomes, and staying abreast of emerging therapies and innovations in cancer care. I continuously seek opportunities for professional development and knowledge sharing to strengthen oncology services within our healthcare system.
Representing Sasoph would be both an honour and a responsibility.
