Jeff Goff

Jeff Goff earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 1992 from the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. He later completed his Master of Science degree in Healthcare Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University in 1998. In 2002, Jeff was named the Director of Pharmacy at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. He provided leadership in the implementation of the nation’s first fully integrated pediatric Computerized Provider Order Entry (CPOE) system, medication barcoding (point-of-care and medication delivery), 340b enrollment, and a PGY-1 residency program (where he served as the Residency Program Director). Jeff helped transition the hospital to its new campus in 2009. In 2015, he transitioned into the role of Senior Director of Pharmacy and Ancillary Services assuming administrative responsibility of the Laboratory and Radiology Departments. Jeff also led an Emergency Department taskforce focusing on improving workflow and patient satisfaction.

In 2016, Jeff accepted the position of Regional Director of Pharmacy, Oncology at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. He has pharmacy oversight for 41 oncology practices throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, and Maryland. He has designed over 20 new cancer center pharmacy clean rooms while obtaining 17 new Pennsylvania pharmacy licenses, including Pennsylvania’s first USP 800 Containment-Segregated Compounding Area (C-SCA) for hazardous drug compounding.

In 2021, Jeff was promoted to Senior Director Pharmacy, Global Oncology Services which recognizes his international pharmacy consulting for UPMC sites abroad, including China, Ireland, Italy, and Croatia. He is the Chair of the UPMC International Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee. In 2025, he led the oncology team in a system-wide EPIC implementation.

Jeff remains an Adjunct Instructor of Pharmacy and Therapeutics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy.
