Patient information leaflets about oral cancer drugs

The WG “Oral cancer drugs” has, among others, the objective to improve health literacy in oncology patients. Written patient information leaflets (PIL) about oral anticancer drugs (OAD) are important for patient education. Until now, there are no multi-national standards for PIL. The WG therefore created a standardized template for PIL about OAD in a brief format and in patient friendly language.

Please note the following:

• All documents are open source.
• Please comply with the provided guideline when creating your own drug specific leaflet.
• The template has been translated into different languages.
• The WG has already created drug specific leaflets for a certain number of drugs.
• For both the template as well as the drug specific templates translations will be available.
• The WG will continually add new drug specific leaflets as well as translations of existing documents.
