The exemplified presented procedures for decontamination after inadvertent release of cytotoxics are for information only and without responsibility, they are solely an orientation guide to point out how a decontamination can be conducted. In no case do they substitute the consultation with a superior, the occupational health and workplace safety and/or the legal department in an individual case.
The action planning for decontamination after inadvertent release is in the area of responsibility of the superior/ employer. The employees, who are involved in the measures of decontamination, should be regularly trained in this area.
